Dear NFES Families,

Happy Summer!!  It’s not too early to mark the start of the next school year on your calendar. We’re introducing a new staggered First Day schedule designed to make the transition to elementary school even smoother for our incoming kindergarten students.

Monday, Aug. 24

• First day for Kindergarten students (Student's Last Name A - L)

• First day for students in grades 1–5

Tuesday, Aug. 25

• First day for the second half Kindergarten students (Student's Last Name M - Z)

• All students in grades 1–5

Wednesday, Aug. 26

• All students attend

This staggered start allows our youngest learners time to become familiar with the building, routines and expectations before all students attend together.
