Summer Reading Information for Rising 1st – 6th Graders

It’s that time again… time to think about fun summer reading books!  Studies show that strong readers read daily, developing vocabulary and comprehension with a little reading everyday!  We encourage our students to make it a goal to read 20 minutes a day as often as possible.

To help with ideas of what to read, here are our HCPS summer reading lists!  Also don’t forget that the Henrico County Public Libraries have a wonderful summer reading program where students can win prizes!  Check out the details on their website… https://henricolibrary.org.
